    For water drilling certain quantity of drill rods are necessary, which depends on their size and maximum drilling depth. Drill rods for small drill rigs are produced in the following size types: 1.0, 1.5 and 1.8 meters. Drill rods are hollow inside, with a tool joint with trapezium or tapered thread welded on each side. On one side, a tool joint is welded to the internal thread, on another one – to the external thread. That is necessary for connecting drill pipes while drilling when each next pipe is screwed into the previous one. Tool joints have cut grooves for 55 mm wrench.
